Students have the opportunity to hear from some innovative industry professionals right on the IU Indianapolis campus through the Sports Innovation Institute (SII) Speaker Series.

Guests ranging from the University of Notre Dame to the TechStars Sports Accelerator Indy have taken their time to discuss career paths, what students need to do to succeed, and just tell their stories while having a little fun.

On April 18, 2019, the IU Indianapolis Sports Innovation Institute welcomed Jordan Fliegel, founder of CoachUp.com, Draft.com, and Techstars Sports Accelerator to campus.

Students and faculty learned how to launch a new business, heard about Indy's impact in the sports tech market, and jump-started sports tech careers with opportunities that Fliegel and Techstars colleague Andrew Hippert shared.
